Intended use

Intended for use in the in vitro quantification of sodium, potassium, ionized calcium, glucose, hematocrit, pH, partial pressure of oxygen (PO2), and partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2) in arterial or venous whole blood. Also intended for sodium, glucose, hematocrit, pH, PO2, and PCO2 in capillary whole blood.

Storage and handling

Cartridges should be stored refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius until ready for use. Once removed from refrigeration, cartridges can be stored at room temperature (18 to 30 degrees Celsius) for up to 14 days. Cartridges should be allowed to reach room temperature before use. Do not freeze cartridges or expose them to temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. Check the expiration date printed on each cartridge pouch before use.
