XN-L Series Analyzers
The introduction of the XN-Series hematology analyzers has helped Sysmex become a market leader in CBC testing performed by mid-to high-volume labs. Now we are bringing the same clinical and operational values to lower-volume labs with the XN-L Series.
Sysmex XN-L automated hematology analyzers offer expanded clinical value
- Using fluorescent flow cytometry and advanced algorithms, the XN-L generates an automated 6-part differential which includes Immature Granulocyte (IG) enumeration. The IG count reflects metamyelocytes, myelocytes and promyelocytes in the sample, requires no additional preparation or reagents and may help reduce the number of manual differentials being performed in your lab.
- The available Low WBC mode extends the WBC and differential counting time, providing accurate and reproducible results that may lead to increased workflow efficiency

Core Technology of XN-L Series
XN-L Series utilises the same core technology as high-end haematology analysers - the proven and reliable laser flow cytometry to count and analyse cells. After the cells are irradiated by the laser beam, the forward scattered light (FSC), side scattered light (SSC) and side fluorescent light (SFL) of the cells are analysed. The three signals are used to differentiate and count cells with the help of unique digital technology and algorithms.

- Reticulocyte License (RET) - optional – Utilizing fluorescent flow cytometry, the reticulocyte analysis channel provides retic counts, an immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF) and reticulocyte hemoglobin equivalent (RET-He) to add clinically significant data to the diagnostic profile.
- Body Fluid License (XN-BF) - optional - The optional Body Fluid Mode allows labs to standardize cell counts on many common body fluids. Automated WBC, RBC and total nucleated cell counts and a reportable 2-part differential provide efficiency and accuracy for body fluid samples.
- Onboard Rules – Customizable onboard rules provide guidance for handling abnormal or flagged samples per your lab’s SOPs. Automated rerun and reflex testing are available only on the XN-550 analyzer.
