    Reagents are available in ready-to-use liquid formats and multiple sizes and can be run on most coagulation systems in low and high volume coagulation testing labs.

    Pacific Hemostasis Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time reagents (APTT) are used to identify acquired or congenital disorders to the intrinsic and common pathways. APTT testing is widely accepted as a means of monitoring patients on oral anticoagulant therapy such as heparin.

    The APTT-XL product offers an ellagic acid activator, which provides superior factor sensitivity and responsiveness, and increased sensitivity to heparin and lupus-like inhibitors.

    The KONTACT APTT product offers a particulate activator and is great for monitoring a patient's response to heparin therapy. It also has a higher sensitivity to Factor VIII.
