As the world's leading medical trade fair, MEDICA introduces the latest technological advancements and brings rapid changes in the healthcare sector with the presentation of innovative products for the medical community every year. This year too, the event witnessed a large gathering. 5,100 exhibitors came from abroad, from 66 countries, presenting innovations covering all the requirements of the outpatient and inpatient care sectors, making this Trade Fair World Forum for Medicine a great success. A leading lab equipment supplier in NY, Block Scientific also participated in this expo, displaying our products on this globally leading platform for state-of-the-art medical technology. MEDICA 2017 was held in Düsseldorf, Germany from November 13 - 16, 2017. We utilized this opportunity to meet with our existing clients and to connect with new customers, and we look forward to developing these relationships in the years to come.
The fair focused on electromedicine / medical technology, laboratory technology / diagnostics, physiotherapy / orthopedic technology, commodities and consumables, information and communications technology, medical furniture and specialist furnishings for hospitals and practices. MEDICA offers solutions not only for individual medical disciplines, but also for the complete workflow of patient treatment in one place at one time.
We exhibited an impressive line of innovative lab products at MEDICA 2017. Of a total of 123,500 professional visitors in the fair, over 60% came from countries outside Germany, from 130 different countries. We are thankful for everyone who made this global event a huge success.
The next MEDICA trade fair in Düsseldorf will be held November 12 - 15, 2018.
