Siemens Healthineers recently received the CE mark for its Atellica Solution, which comprises a group of scalable immunoassay and chemistry analyzers. This advanced diagnostic system, which can operate as an independent system or connect to Aptio Automation, is available in the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia.
The Atellica Solution creates a new standard in sample management by independently controlling every sample, resulting in immediate priority sample management, reduced operator intervention and fewer errors. It is the world's first group of IVD analyzers with a patented, bi-directional magnetic sample transport that is 10 times faster than conventional conveyors-expedites delivery of patient results.
The system's immunoassay analyzer can load up to 440 tests per hour and is engineered to deliver precision, throughput, and turnaround time. The advanced features of this include
- Patent-pending dual incubation ring design
- Temperature and humidity controls of the reaction environment
- Powerful magnets for relevant particle separation and
- Robust washing protocols
Developed through extensive market research with laboratory professionals around the world, this solution provides healthcare settings with a simplified workflow, tighter control, and more time to focus on driving better business and clinical outcomes.
The Atellica Solution can process more than 30 different sample container types including pediatric and tube-top sample cups that can be aspirated from the primary tube. It includes 170 assays and a 10-minute turnaround for certain cardiac, reproductive and thyroid tests.
The system features Atellica Magline™ Transport patented bi-directional, magnetic transport technology which is 10 times faster than conventional sample conveyors, and comes with innovative and unique sample management capabilities.
As a leading provider of laboratory diagnostic services, Siemens Healthineers is focused on providing solutions that simplify lab operations, provide quick and accurate outcomes, and allow healthcare professionals to deliver high quality patient care.
