    QBC Autoread Plus Hematology System

Following sample collection and preparation, the operator simply inserts the sample in to the instrument loading platform and closes the lid, after which testing is entirely automatic.

    Features include:

The analyzer is permanently calibrated during manufacturing. A simple calibration check is run daily to verify satisfactory performance prior to testing patient samples. Liquid quality control materials are available for additional performance monitoring.

The analyzer software features four test modes and one mode for various user defined options and service checks. Age-and sex-specific normal ranges can be selected for the printout prior to patient sample analysis. Printouts can also include error messages or codes that alert the user to improper tube preparation, unusual sample results or other irregular conditions.

The software contains Hematology Diagnostic Reminders (HDR) referenced in the 8th Edition of Clinical Hematology by Wintrobe. Users may select from several printed formats for test results including test values only, test values plus abbreviated HDR comments and test values, plus expanded HDR comments.
