SHUR/Cut 3500, Semi-Automatic Retracting Microtome
This heavy duty, retracting, biological or industrial microtome has a user-friendly hand-pad, which allows the operator to store separate trimming and sectioning thicknesses. To switch from one to the other, simply press the appropriate embossed switch. 2-speed motorized specimen arm forward and reverse feed functions rapidly advance a tissue block for cutting or returning to the rear for inserting a new block. Retraction is activated / deactivated by the push of a button. The product features one-handed operation for specimen course advance / return. No longer is the operator required to extend both arms to section or trim. Simply push a button to switch between operator selectable pre-set trimming & sectioning thickness and then rotate the hand-wheel at your preferred speed to generate beautiful ribbons effortlessly.
SHUR/Cut 2500, Semi-Automatic Retracting Microtome
SHUR/Cut 2500 is a heavy duty, biological or industrial microtome, having the same motorized trimming & sectioning setting features as the SC3500. It doesn’t have the added benefit of an ergonometric hand-pad controller.
The following items are included with the microtome: x-y specimen orientation, quick-release clamp, low & high profile blade holder and magnetized waste tray, and instructions.
SHUR/Cut 4500, Semi-Automatic Retracting Microtome
SHUR/Cut 4500 – The heavy duty, motorized, retracting biological or industrial microtome has an adjustable-speed motorized cutting stroke that can be customized to simulate a manual motion, leaving the operator’s hands free to manipulate and guide the sections. The motor drive was engineered to provide the utmost in accuracy, efficiency and precise sectioning. The user-friendly touch pad controller provides easy switchover between pre-set trimming and sectioning modes.
