laboratory workloads. It comes
complete with ready-to-use dry-slide
reagents, on-line QC/diagnostics and
user-friendly menus. Built in
MicroSlide technology, Ortho Vitros
250 keeps precision in evaluation and
analyses of chemistry profiles;
minimizes interference from hemolysis,
lipemia and bilirubim; compared to wet
chemistry systems, this system has
lesser number of repeats, redraws and
dilutions.
Ortho Vitros 250 is also incorporated
with several time and labor cost
saving and workflow boosting features
and capabilities such as primary
container sampling, positive sample
identification and bi-directional
interface. It has a throughput of up
to 250 results per hour, with 40 +
on-board chemistries.
Moreover, Ortho Vitros 250 can provide
customized patient reports and option
for positive patient identification
(PSID™), facilitating LIS interfacing
capability. The urine dilutions and
serum dilutions can also assayed
automatically. This system also
facilitates storing, managing, and
manipulating of patient reports up to
5,000.
