Ortho Coagulab 60S - manufactured by
Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics - is a
fully programmable analyzer providing
trouble-free operation. It is capable
of performing the analysis of
Prothrombin time (PT), Activated
Partial Thromboplastic time (APTT),
factor assays, PT/APTT combination and
Thrombin time (TT).
The system comes with a comprehensive
range of features. It has a throughput
capacity of 360 tests per hour for PTs
and 180 tests per hour for APTTs.
Sample identification numbers can be
entered manually or using an accessory
bar code reader. As the machine uses
four electro-optical detectors, it can
perform four assays simultaneously.
Standard curve plots and clot
signature can be generated through an
optional external printer. If
necessary, the machine can be
connected to an external computer
system. Single or duplicate assay
modes and quality control data
management ensure the reliability of
test results.
