Miles 1000-3000 Series Histology Tissue Processors

Miles VIP 1000-3000 Series histology tissue processors were developed by Miles Laboratories, a subsidiary of Bayer. Now, Bayer is part of Siemens. For fixing, dehydrating, clearing and paraffin impregnating human, animal or plant specimen, the Miles VIP 1000-3000 Series histology tissue processors are featured with ten programs. They come with 14 graduated polyethylene bottles, in which 10 bottles are designated for processing solutions, two each for cleaning reagents and fume control. Both VIP 1000-3000 Series can operate up to 100 hours/step.
 
Program options available are processing time for each station, use of alternating pressure/vacuum, and end of processing time with a full range of status, alarm and safety features. The programs are all protected with battery backup.

VIP 3000 Tissue Processor

The VIP 3000 automatic tissue processor, having a 300 specimen capacity, makes use of three 4-liter, removable paraffin vessels.
