Miles Tissue Tek II Microtome Cryostat

Miles Tissue Tek II, a microtome cryostat equipment intended for cryo-techniques, was developed by Miles Laboratories, a subsidiary of Bayer. Now, Bayer is acquired by Siemens. Miles Tissue Tek II with dial type adjustments comes loaded with features like hermetically sealed, double-pane glass sliding door, knife holder, stainless steel cryostat chamber that automatically defrosts every 24 hours, and provides sections from 2 to 20u in 2u increments.
    
The temperature range of the Cryobar remains constant at -40 degree C +/- 3 degrees C. The cryostat chamber is thermostatically controlled between ambient and -30 degrees C. The device is capable of operating on 115V, 60 Hz, 6.5A, single-phase power.
