Using a Beckman/Coulter T890 instrument, it is possible to measure different parameters including WBC, RBC, Hgb, Hct, MCV, MCH, MCHC, Plt, L%, and L#. This automated analyzer has a throughput of 90 CBCs per hour. The analyzer has all the features as that of the Beckman/Coulter T540 instrument excluding that of the cycle time it takes. The features include self-cleaning blood sampling valve, automatic dilution, sweep flow, pulse editing, automatic calibration, triplicate counting, alert indicators and automated backwash, coincidence correction, and rinsing and electronic aperture cleaning. Its cycle time is 40 seconds.
