Features of the Hitachi 704 include; user friendly keyboard and CRT, a throughput of 360 tests per hour with ISE, 3 – 20µL size samples, refrigerated storage for 40 reagent containers, automatic sample blanking, 4 parameter logic data reduction for non-linear output, QC capabilities for 6 control levels and automatic maintenance functions. Furthermore the Hitachi 704 can perform endpoint, kinetic and isoenzyme chemistries. The machine can be interfaced with a host computer and results can be stored on floppy disk.
