Sysmex CA 1000 is an automated blood coagulation analyzer manufactured by Sysmex Corporation. It is supplied by Block Scientific and is capable of performing the assays for PT, APTT, Fbg, PT/APTT and PT/APTT/Fbg. The lab equipment can be used for both STAT and routine tests. As it makes use of four optical detectors, it can perform four assays simultaneously.

The machine comprises two main components: the main unit and reagent housing. The main unit handles control, measurement and computational operations. An internal graphic printer and a sampler with load capacity of up to 10 test tubes are included with this unit. Reagent housing contains reagents for activating coagulation factors, diluting and instrument cleaning.

For a single test, Sysmex CA 1000 has a throughput capacity of 60 tests per hour. It has an auto sampler with a capability of 10 samples per rack. The coagulation system features a large LCD touch screen display for controlling various parameters and settings. Its data storage is 1,500 results with coagulation curves. Print out of the results can be generated using a graphic or data printer.
