Clinitek 200+ is one of the urine chemistry analyzers distributed by Block Scientific. Manufactured originally by Bayer’s Diagnostics Division which is now acquired by Siemens and renamed Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, this semi-automated, bench-top instrument is devised for reading reagent strips for urinalysis.

Siemens Clinitek 200 Plus with Many Versatile Features 

Suitable for both medium and large volume testing facilities, Siemens Clinitek 200 Plus urine chemistry analyzer comes with many versatile features. It is a reflectance spectrophotometer capable of analyzing color and intensity of the light reflected from the reagent area accurately. The chemistry equipment can report and print semi-quantitative (mg/dL) results in clinically meaningful units. It is equipped with calibration strip that maintains correct and standard clinical reporting.

The Bayer Clinitek 200+ system has a replaceable program card containing programming necessary for reading reagent strips, a keyboard, a thermal printer and a visual LED display and audible tone. It can scan one strip every 10 seconds and has a throughput of up to 360 strips per hour.

Easy to Maintain

With bidirectional interface capability, Clinitek 200+ can upload and download patient data
with host computer and provides parallel port for the external printers. This laboratory equipment is also capable of identifying patients requiring additional testing. Moreover, it is easily upgradeable for future enhancements. It is very easy to maintain and has low cost disposables.
