The 2014 AACC Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo will be held July 27–31, 2014, at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. According to the organizers, this is the world’s largest expo for clinical laboratory products and services, with over 700 companies showcasing their offerings in more than 2000 booths.
The New Product Showcase is where attendees can learn about new products. The OEM pavilion is expected to have over 150 companies supplying contract manufacturing services and producing analytical laboratory equipment, disposables, and other OEM products. There’s also much to be learned by attending the OEM Lecture Series – innovative technologies, creative products, and services from R&D, manufacturing, and other areas.
Not to be missed are the Industry Workshop Theaters and Industry Workshops. Leading companies will present workshops on a wide array of topics – from advances in point-of-care lipid and HbA1c testing, and ELISA assays to perspectives on the laboratory & diagnostics market. The one-hour Industry Workshop Theaters will be conveniently presented in a theater built inside the exhibit hall. The Exhibit Hall Industry Workshops Theater include presentations such as Fulfilling the Original Promise of Automation by Roche Diagnostics Corporation, Transforming your laboratory and building a competitive advantage through process innovation by: Beckman Coulter, Inc., Population-management informatics: Managing Chronic Disease Risk and CMS Quality Metrics by Siemens, and Thermo Fisher Scientific: Update on Autoimmunity Diagnostics by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Free lunches will be offered within the Exhibit Hall on both Wednesday and Thursday. Complimentary lunches will be served to attendees and exhibitors.
