Tests for general chemistries such as glucose, creatinine, calcium, cholesterol, total bilirubin, magnesium, total protein, and potassium can all be performed in this instrument. From a menu of more than a hundred assays, you can choose up to fifteen resident tests.

Technicon/Bayer RA 1000 features: economical machine operation, versatility, easy to use functions, and proven reliability. It offers a potential throughput of 240 assays/hr and 120 assays/hr for routine tests and ISE electrolytes respectively. Complete data management can be achieved through the use of the RA-1000 Data Manager. Up to 12 chemistries can be allocated to a reagent tray configuration. For future use, 10 reagent tray configurations can be stored on a disk.
