Abbott Cell Dyn 1800 is one of the new automated hematology analyzers supplied by Block Scientific. It is especially designed to meet the growing needs of today’s changing laboratory environment. The system produces quick, accurate access to patient results and advanced data management capabilities. It has only 30 µL aspiration volume and does not need a desktop computer. As it is very small in size, it can fit under standard physician office laboratory cabinets.
  

Cell Dyn 1800, from Abbott Diagnostics, is a single bench-top analyzer with an expanded data management system that can handle up to 10,000 samples. It is the latest 3-part differential analyzer offering an 18-parameter blood count. The system uses optional bar code reader to eliminate transcription and data entry errors. It is capable of data output to both inkjet and dot matrix printer.
